This week beer giant Anheuser Busch announced that they had acquire Ashville, NC brewery Wicked Weed. The brewery, focusing on West Coast style hoppy ales, open fermented Belgian beers and Barrel-Aged Sours, was founded five years ago by Walt and Luke Dickinson. The acquisition is a part of Anheuser Busch’ strategy to establish a cache of craft brews under its The High End group.

Goose Island has released 2017 Lolita, and this has done something unique. It is available in the 750ml format, but is also available 12oz bottle 4-packs. Lolita is a Belgian style wild ale aged in wine barrels with raspberries.
