Mikerphone will be having their Grand Opening on March 18th and 19th and their new brewery and taproom at 121 Garlisch Dr. in Elk Grove Village.
They will have bottles of Mikerphone Check 1,2, Imperial Smells Like Bean Spirit, and Nature’s Candy available. These beers will also be available on tap.
Burnt City is canning their 5% ABV Milk Stout Freight Handler. This beer has been available on tap for the last couple of years, but will be launching in cans this week. The brewery is hosting a release event at Bitter Pops tomorrow, Dec. 1st, at 6pm.
350 Brewing will be releasing two new Barrel-Aged beers this Saturday, Nov. 13th at 11am. Fat & Married is a BA Imperial Milk Stout, and Monk in Drublic is a BA Belgian Quad with Honey. There are only 250 bottles and they are $20 each with a limit of 2.
Burnt City is releasing their new collaboration with The Hop Review tonight, October 13th, in their taproom (2747 N Lincoln Ave) at 5pm. The beer, 13 DeKoven, is a Belgian Strong Dark brewed with smoked malt and orange peels and was brewed to commemorate the 145th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire, which took place Oct.8th to the 10th in 1871. #BurntCityBeer #13DeKoven

Revolution Brewing has announced the released date and event for the two newest additions to their Deep Wood Series, Batch 1000. The release event will take place on October 20th at their Kedzie Taproom. This will be the official kick-off of the Deep Wood Series. They also released detail on the upcoming releases:

Ale Asylum is releasing a new American Pala Ale called Tears of Enemies. The official release will take place at the brewery’s annual Ferment Dissent Imperial Stout Fest on October 15th.

Cicerone Certification Program Chicago is hosting an Off-Flavor Class on August 25th. The is part of the Certified Cicerone Course, but any one interested in detecting Off-Flavors in beer can attend. The class is $49 and the 6 Off-Flavors presented in the tasting will be LightStruck, DMS, Diacetyl, Trans-2-Nonenal, Infection, and Acetaldehyde.
